The Physical Security Manager serves as the organization’s strategic leader for physical and food security programs across all HMF locations, overseeing enterprise-level security operations, traffic management, vendor partnerships, and food defense initiatives.
Requirements
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the organization’s enterprise-wide strategy for Physical Security and Food Defense
- Policy and Program Governance: Establish, update, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures
- Risk Management: Direct risk and vulnerability assessments across facilities and food systems
- Technology Oversight: Provide leadership for access control systems, video surveillance, and related technologies
- Food Defense and Compliance: Oversee food security programs to prevent contamination or intentional adulteration
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Lead relationships with third-party security vendors, integrators, and consultants
- Incident Response and Investigations: Direct investigations and response efforts for incidents involving theft, tampering, or intrusion
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with senior leaders to align security initiatives across sites and departments
- Committee Leadership: Chair the Security Committee and Infrastructure Team
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and present dashboards and reports on key security metrics, incident trends, vulnerabilities, and program effectiveness
- Training and Awareness: Oversee enterprise training programs on physical security and food defense
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes
- Emergency Management: Ensure the organization’s emergency response and crisis management plans are current, effective, and tested
