Job Description
Hologic is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and improve embedded systems and software tools for their medical device portfolio. The role involves leading a team in a hybrid schedule, focusing on modern development practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in real-time systems.
Requirements
- Experienced in object-oriented and procedural languages (C++, C, .NET, C#, Java) and compiled languages.
- Passionate about building quality products and developing high-performing teams.
- Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, scripting (Python, Bash), and version control (Git).
- Familiar with real-time operating systems, medical devices, and regulated environments.
- Strong technical leadership skills, including mentoring and coaching.
- Excellent communication skills.
