Job Description
The General Counsel will provide proactive legal counsel, develop compliance strategies, and negotiate contracts. They will also manage litigation, provide training, and implement policies. The ideal candidate has a J.D. degree, active Bar membership, and 5+ years of experience in law, preferably in Construction Law.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredidted US Law School
- Active Bar membership in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in Construction Law
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and review
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
