Senior Civil Engineer

The Senior Civil Engineer serves in a leadership capacity to support the Division of Energy and Mineral Development (DEMD) in applying civil engineering methodologies and principles to renewable energy projects on Indian lands.

Requirements

• Serves as a leadership position within the functional labor category and is responsible for the day-to-day direction of technical work.
• Provides technical guidance in the conservation and development of renewable energy resources and supports tribal renewable energy development programs.
• Evaluates the feasibility of planned projects from multiple perspectives and serves as a liaison between Indian tribes, government agencies, and commercial contractors.
