Job Description
HCPA, a Title I Charter School, is seeking a Facilities Assistant (Maintenance) to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and security of the school building. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of facility maintenance, managing utilities, and ensuring a safe environment for students. The role reports to the Facilities/Project Manager and involves team projects and responding to emergencies.
Requirements
- Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a GED
- Valid MN driver's license
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate snow removal and lawn equipment
- Knowledge of floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions
- Experience in a school facility is preferred
