Senior Research Assistant in Chinese Medicine Research

The Centre for Chinese Herbal Medicine Drug Development in Hong Kong Science Park is seeking qualified Senior Research Assistants to join their team. The Centre is focused on developing treatments and cures for diseases like ulcerative colitis and chronic constipation using Chinese herbal medicine. Research assistants will contribute to preclinical and clinical research projects, preparing research articles, and assisting with laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Hold a master's degree in Chinese pharmacy, pharmacy, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical preparation, or other related disciplines.
• Proficient in extraction, purification, and qualitative/quantitative analysis of active ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine.
• Familiar with cellular/molecular biology techniques.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Passionate about scientific research and self-motivated with independent research capabilities.
• Strong teamwork spirit.
