The Workday Functional specialist provides global and local solutions to business problems and requirements outside of the country implementations. The role requires a good understanding of the organisation’s strategy, way of working and business architecture as well as an outside-in perspective.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with Workday Absence & Time both hands on & from a Strategic standpoint
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills with a proven track record
- Global experience would be a nice to have
- Proven 4-6 years of experience in Workday implementation
- Experience in multiple Workday modules: Workday Core HCM and Absence & Time are a must have
- Workday Service Partner Certification or Customer Certification in HCM and Absence/or other modules
- Strong functional understanding of HR Operations, processes, and data definitions
- Experience as Functional Consultant in at least 2 full end-to-end Workday implementation in a multinational, complex environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Business Analytical skills – ability to actively listen to understand the problem and translate this into clearly articulated solutions which the business can understand
- Organized and disciplined way of working with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines
