Process Manager | Senai

Lead the design and development of SMT processes for the efficient and reliable assembly of electronic components onto PCBs. Implement changes to product design and/or manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process issues, manage equipment upgrades, set up processes, and establish optimized process parameters.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in SMT process development and optimization within the electronics manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of SMT technology, equipment (e.g., printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens), and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in CAD tools for part and assembly design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across departments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a dynamic production environment.
• Hands-on approach with strong involvement on the production floor.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
