Staff Accountant

Hillwood Energy is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational excellence across our energy portfolio.

Requirements

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with monthly and annual close procedures, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Process oil and gas revenue transactions and Joint Interest Billing (JIB) entries, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor requests.
• Maintain and execute internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting, transaction execution, bank reconciliations, and liquidity reporting.
