Job Description
The Recreation Therapist will plan and implement recreational activities for an assigned program or campus, managing facility safety and creating opportunities for healthy lifestyle choices. This role involves providing both group and individual programs, assisting youth, and documenting progress notes. The position supports overall wellness and community reintegration.
Requirements
- Develop and deliver recreation programs.
- Create a youth recreational activities schedule.
- Assist youth in positive play experiences.
- Document case progress notes.
- Participate in treatment team meetings.
- Supervise recreation center facilities.
- Perform basic facility maintenance and safety inspections.
