Part-Time Family Peer Advocate I or II - Hard to Place Critical Care

The Family Peer Advocate is a part-time position providing support to families navigating child serving systems, particularly in the Greater Rochester area. This role involves empowering parents to advocate for their children's needs, including self-care and mental health. It requires flexibility, working evenings and weekends, and requires an individual who can live-in experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of ‘lived experience’ based on program and funder requirements.
• NYS Office of Mental Health (parent/caregiver exp required) OR Personal ‘lived experience’ as defined by program.
