Hill International is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Document Control Manager to lead the documentation and information management functions on complex construction and infrastructure projects delivered under a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) framework.
Requirements
- Develop and implement the Document Control Plan (DCP) in accordance with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Set up, manage, and maintain the projects Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) such as Aconex, PMWeb, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing documents are properly registered, classified, and archived.
- Define document workflows, version control standards, metadata structures, and user access protocols.
- Supervise a team of document controllers and ensure adherence to project-wide documentation procedures.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and client representatives to ensure accurate and timely submission of deliverables.
- Conduct regular document audits and ensure the integrity and traceability of project documentation.
- Monitor document review cycles, coordinate approvals, and generate progress and compliance reports.
- Support quality assurance, claims, and project closeout by maintaining a complete and organized document archive.
- Train project stakeholders on document control systems, tools, and processes.
