Talent Pool - Contract Administrator - UAE Projects

Hill International is seeking a Contract Administrator to join its talent pool for future opportunities in aviation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for full administration of construction contracts, including all related correspondence, and will have a B.Sc. Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years experience in the preparation of contracts within a large organization.

Requirements

• B.Sc. Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the preparation of contracts within a large organization
• Professional Membership such as RICS, CIOB, and CIArb with additional qualifications in construction contract law is desirable
• Pre and post-contract experience working for Cost Consultants, Employers/Developers/end users, or Project Management Consultants preferred, and Contractor experience will be considered
• Previous experience working on large-scale complex Projects preferred
• Certification in supply chain or contracts will be a merit, i.e. CIPS or similar
• Technical understanding of building, reviewing and finalising various contracts and tendering processes
• Sound understanding of commercial management principles with technical knowledge and diversified capabilities in contracts and risks management, cost-effectiveness, and legal/economic aspects
• High degree of competence in understanding contractual, commercial, technical and risk issues and, therefore, the preparation of Contractual sound correspondence in accordance with FIDIC and other Forms of Contract
• High competence in understanding regulations and control and other relevant legal guidelines
• High degree of competence regarding numerical, communication and negotiation skills
