Job Description
As a Contract Surveyor at Hill, you'll manage the commercial and financial elements of residential projects, ensuring costs are controlled, value is maximised, and delivery stays aligned with budget, programme and employer requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification (e.g. HND/HNC or degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction)
- Working towards or holding RICS or CIOB membership
- Experience as a Quantity or Contract Surveyor in residential development
- Confident in managing procurement and subcontractor performance
- Skilled in remeasurement, cost reporting and risk analysis
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent numeracy
- Proficient communicator with effective stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and health & safety requirements
- Familiarity with groundworks, piling, RC frame and brickwork is an advantage
