Job Description
Higher Logic is seeking a Data Solutions Engineer to support their strategic data initiatives. This role focuses on designing, developing, and scaling data pipelines and models to enable analytics, business intelligence, and AI workflows using both structured and unstructured data. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and architecting scalable data systems. Data flows continuously through AWS, Databricks, and Power BI, forming a modern lakehouse architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering
- Deep hands-on experience with S3, Glue, Databricks, Postgres/MSSQL, and streaming pipelines
- Strong background in data modeling, warehouse performance tuning, and ELT patterns
- Proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable operating as a senior team member
