Job Description
HGA is seeking a Junior Lighting Designer to join their National Lighting Design team and collaborate on innovative projects across various sectors like healthcare, arts, and education. The role involves design development, sustainable environment creation, and project documentation. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of lighting principles and design technologies.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in lighting design principles and technologies
- Creativity, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit
- Interest in sustainability and data-driven design
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, architectural engineering, interior design or related field
- 0-3 years’ experience designing the lighting design for commercial, institutional and healthcare facilities
- Ability to perform lighting calculations, layouts, detail design, fixture selection, reports and presentation creations for lighting projects
- Working knowledge of AGI
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus
