Job Description
Hexcel is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Salt Lake City, UT location. The selected individual will support operations in achieving area safety, quality, material usage variance, yield, on time delivery and throughput targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other applicable Engineering degree
- Experience in resin, prepreg or other continuous process industry
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma continuous improvement programs
- Ability to manage capital or continuous improvement projects to completion
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
- Current computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio and PowerPoint
- Experience with SPC and other statistical techniques
- Experience with mechanical and electromechanical systems
