Component Responsible Engineer

Hermeus is a high-speed aircraft manufacturer seeking a Component Responsible Engineer to design, build, qualify, and deliver flight valves, actuators, mechanisms, and other mechanical systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (mechanical, aerospace, physics, materials, etc.)
• 5+ years of engineering, competition team, or applied research experience related to fluids, mechanisms, or engine systems
• Willingness to travel to support hardware builds and flight tests
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Positive attitude in the face of extreme technical challenges

Benefits

• $90,000 - $180,000 a year
