Sr Automation tool engineer (Python, Java)

Design and develop automated tests, troubleshoot code-related issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements. Develop Python applications using JIRA REST API, implement and test automated solutions, and support stakeholders by debugging issues in developed solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Python and Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven)
• Strong knowledge of SQL (Postgres/MySQL)
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian JIRA systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, AWS, GitLab)
• Experience in software development, infrastructure, or DevOps
• Ability to make informed decisions after consulting stakeholders
• Curiosity to stay updated on emerging technologies in automation
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural, multi-site environments
• Knowledge of location-based services (mapping, navigation, GPS)
• Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CP-BAT, CP-MAT, CP-SAT)
• Experience with embedded or automotive hardware test environments
• Exposure to testing safety-critical equipment
