Data Scientist

Traffic Data Science at HERE Technologies seeks a Data Scientist to build and deploy machine learning models that interpret real-world mobility data, improve routing accuracy, and predict traffic dynamics.

Requirements

• Design, train, and deploy ML models for traffic prediction, routing, and congestion detection
• Analyze large-scale geospatial datasets from GPS, connected vehicles, and public traffic sources
• Develop map-matching, road segmentation, and anomaly detection algorithms
• Build scalable data pipelines for spatial and temporal data ingestion and cleaning
• Optimize model performance and accuracy through experimentation and feature engineering
• Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate models into mapping and analytics systems
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
