Controller

Herbivore is a rapidly growing, purpose-driven beauty brand focused on clean, non-toxic products and tangible results. The Controller role will set a strong financial foundation, managing accounting, reporting, and financial controls to support business scale domestically and internationally. This position requires collaboration with finance, operations, and marketing teams to deliver accurate financial reports and oversee operational initiatives.

Requirements

• Manage all daily financial accounting functions for the company including A/P, A/R, journal entries, bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliation, payroll and account analysis.
• Build financial infrastructure to support Herbivore on its high-growth journey.
• Establish, monitor and enforce financial controls across the organization.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring turns and excess/obsolescence are within target.
• Partner with operations to develop BOMs and COGS for each product.
• Prepare lender reports and ensure debt covenants are met.
