Activity Specialist

We are seeking a Part Time Activity Specialist to work with youth in grades K-8, providing quality hands-on, inquiry-based projects, enrichment, and recreation experiences.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and enrollment in college in a related field (Education/Human Development/Sociology/etc.)
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in after-school or camp settings
• Strong content knowledge of positive youth development principles
• Thorough knowledge of appropriate skill development strategies for students grades K-8
• Interest in providing quality hands-on, inquiry-based projects, enrichment, and recreation experiences to youth in grades K—8
• Experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work with students from a variety of academic backgrounds and skill levels
• Strong organizational, multitask, and follow through skills
• Self-motivated ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and positive team-oriented attitude
• Bilingual preferred (Cantonese/English or Mandarin/English)
