PEP Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a Prevention Specialist to join our team. The Prevention Specialist will work under the direct supervision of the Prevention Coordinator to provide comprehensive community assessments to youth, young adults, and other community members in SPA-7. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of experience providing substance use prevention services. The Prevention Specialist will work effectively with co-workers, collaborating partners, community members, and others to share ideas and provide services to the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• One year of experience providing substance use prevention services
• Experience developing, providing, and/or evaluating community-based environmental prevention programs/services
• Ability to implement evidence-based strategies and prevention concepts for addressing substance use related community problems and contributing factors
