Job Description
Helios HR is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for Superior Paving. The role involves processing weekly payroll for multi-state employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. The Senior Payroll Specialist will be proficient in processing weekly payroll using UKG Ready and have a strong understanding of garnishment calculations.
Requirements
- Process weekly payroll for multi-state employees
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies
- Maintain accurate payroll records
- Calculate and process garnishments
- Prepare and process state and federal payroll tax filings
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings
- Generate and analyze payroll reports
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data
- Assist with year-end payroll activities
- Collaborate with Finance to improve payroll processes
- Participate in system upgrades and testing in UKG Ready
