Job Description
We are a fusion power company based in Everett, WA, seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to support the core energy management system for our fusion generators. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in power systems engineering or high-power, high voltage pulsed power systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in power systems engineering or high-power, high voltage pulsed power systems
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
- Experience in design, fabrication, installation and test of high voltage electronics
- Strong background with solid state switching technologies and understanding of operating characteristics of power electronic components
- Technical expertise in the application of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, LTSpice, SIMtrex/Simplis, Altium, Matlab
