Job Description
The San Francisco Chronicle is seeking a Sports Reporting Intern for a 12-week summer position. The intern will cover Bay Area sports teams and stories, receive training, and learn the challenges of a digital news operation. Opportunities exist to pursue other topics and data-driven journalism depending on interest. All students, including those with recent degrees, are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- College student, or recent associate/bachelor's degree candidate
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to conduct research and learn from editors and colleagues
