Licensed Respiratory Therapist

Regions Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our group of collaborative professionals that work in partnership with the patient care team in the development, modification, and implementation of the respiratory care plan.

Requirements

• Education: Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy and/or graduation from a two-year American Medical Association approved training program in Respiratory Care OR
• Coursework and credentials (i.e., graduate of two-year respiratory therapist program plus CRT credential) which meet the qualifications for the registry exam of the National Board for Respiratory Care may substitute for the associate degree.
• Licensure/Registration/Certification: Must be licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (LRT) with the State of Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• BLS Certified
• ACLS within one year of hire
• Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist within one year of hire.
• Experience: One-year Respiratory Therapist experience
• Licensure/Registration/Certification: NRP Certification, Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS), Fundamentals of Critical Care Specialty (FCCS), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)
