Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Oncology is a part-time, key member of the Medical Services team at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan. The role involves providing comprehensive direct patient care within the oncology setting, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and facilitating patient navigation. Collaboration with the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency Clinic Associate Team Lead is key to the role.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved NP program at a minimum of a Master of Nursing level or equivalent
- Successful completion of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act Module (CDSA) from Saskatchewan Polytechnic or Athabasca University
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience relevant to oncology and/or palliative care and/or acute care
- Registered with the SRNA and licensed as RN (NP)
- Canadian Oncology Nursing Certification (Preferred)
