Requirements
- Assess and interpret evaluations and test results; determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
- Administer manual exercises, instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing physical activities, and use assistive and supportive devices.
- Administer physical therapy treatments, evaluate effects of treatments, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices.
- Document patient care services, maintain patient confidence, and protect hospital operations.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, protect patients and employees, and ensure operation of equipment.
