Forklift Operator

Hayward Lumber is seeking a Forklift Operator to assemble and prepare outgoing loads of lumber and building materials for delivery. The role involves using forklifts, loading/unloading orders, double-checking accuracy, ensuring safety, and maintaining a clean working environment. This position contributes to Hayward Lumber's commitment to exceeding customer needs and creating an environment that fosters employee growth.

Requirements

• Use forklift to build outgoing orders for lumber and building materials.
• Use forklift to load or unload completed orders onto delivery equipment maintaining safe procedures and stacking methods.
• Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Follow safety procedures as outlined by company safety program.
• Keep all areas stocked and neat to facilitate efficient load building processes.
• Keep management aware of any delays or discrepancies.
• Treat all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner.
• Lift 75-100 pounds consistently
