Senior Control & Automation Engineer

Join Hatch's Project Delivery Group as a Senior Control & Automation Engineer. Provide technical and administrative support through all phases of a project, assist with project delivery, and manage the progress of engineering work. Collaborate with employees from different cultures and work on complex projects with meaningful contributions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Control Engineering from an accredited University.
• 10+ years project engineering experience.
• Registered as a professional engineer with EGBC (Engineers and Geoscientists BC).
• Demonstrated ‘hands-on’ site experience and ability to work independently.
• PLC/DCS programming experience (Rockwell - preferred, DeltaV and ABB would be an asset).
• Sound knowledge of 3D data-centric design systems.
• AutoCAD experience, MicroStation is an asset.
• Ability to delegate tasks and effectively supervise others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to function with minimal supervision.
