Sous Chef

Harwood Hospitality Group is seeking a Sous Chef to coordinate the work of the chef and kitchen employees, oversee all aspects of the kitchen, and provide leadership and management of kitchen staff. The role involves scheduling and coordinating work, supervising cooking operations, planning meals, and developing cost menus. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for ensuring high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety throughout the kitchen areas.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role including kitchen management
• Strong people management skills with the ability to instill a culture of accountability
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time-management skills
• Strong inventory and inventory management skills
• Food Handlers certification
