The Midstream Accountant I supports day-to-day accounting activities for midstream oil and gas operations, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports. The role assists with basic transactions, analysis, and problem solving under the guidance of senior accountants or accounting managers.

Requirements

• Prepare daily and monthly invoices to third-party purchasers
• Reconcile third-party statements and invoices
• Record general ledger entries related to product sales and inventory movements
• Maintain accounts receivable aging report and monitor outstanding balances
• Participate in monthly meetings with marketing and commercial teams
• Respond to purchaser inquiries and follow up on aging receivables
