Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry

Hartwick College is seeking a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry to teach a 200-level quantitative chemical analysis course and a 100-level general organic and biochemistry course. The position is for Spring 2026, pending administrative approval, and offers a comfortable residential liberal arts college environment with opportunities for growth and diversity. Candidates should have research experience and be proficient in analytical chemistry.

Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Analytical and /or Inorganic Chemistry or closely related discipline.
• Experience teaching quantitative chemical analysis.
• Strong research interests in chemical instrumentation and quantitative methods.
