Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel is seeking a Cook II to prepare all food orders according to established recipes and maintain high standards of service in the food and beverage operation. The role involves a variety of station functions, menu preparation, and ensuring quality and consistency. Harrah’s is committed to environmental, health and safety best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ninety days of Cook I experience or one year of cooking experience in a high-volume food service operation
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards and procedures
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• Problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Physical stamina and flexibility
