Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) is seeking an HR Payroll Accountant to join its dynamic and fast-paced Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-state payroll and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting
- Multi-state payroll experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, or similar software
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function, including balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes across diverse jurisdictions
- Strong mathematical and analytical understanding; strong problem-solving and ability to work independently
