Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

InReach Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at the Harlan County Health System in Alma, NE. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping patients regain independence and improve daily function in a collaborative rural healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence
• Lead therapeutic activities addressing ADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records
• Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies to support daily function
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions as appropriate under OT guidance
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive team culture
