Job Description
The Custodian plays an essential role in maintaining the building(s) and supporting an environment that promotes the love reading. The position involves performing interior custodial work, maintaining restrooms, and providing direct support to branch staff in the setup of furniture for programs and events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred, minimum completion of 9th grade education
- One year of experience in a custodial, mechanical trade or related area
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions
- Basic computer skills to include use of email, internet searches and ability to use web based employee self-service portal
