Job Description
The Children Summer Assistant for the Rolling Reader outreach mobile service is responsible for assisting staff with carrying out the Summer Reading program at various outreach sites. Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Current enrollment at college/university working towards Associate or Bachelors degree preferably in child development, early elementary, physical education or related field
- Experience working with children, preferably with elementary and middle school aged students
- Customer service experience
- Basic computer skills to include use of email, data entry, internet searches and ability to use web-based employee self-service portal
- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal background check
- Ability to provide documentation and maintain a valid drivers license with no more than 3 points
- Ability to work day, evening, and weekends hours
