Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist position requires a qualified individual to perform respiratory therapy treatment modalities in the Intensive Care Unit, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and ventilator management. The role involves providing patient care and assisting physicians, as well as representing the physician's assistant. Knowledge of growth and development and respiratory care skills are key. A minimum of an A.S. or A.A.S. degree from a COARC accredited program is required.
Requirements
- National Board for Respiratory Care Certification (RN or CTR)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist License
- Minimum of A.S. or A.A.S. degree from a COARC accredited program
- Current licensure in the state of practice
- Experience as a Respiratory Therapist (at least 1 year)
