Job Description
This Full Time Day Shift RN position with Radiology at the Guthrie Clinic provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care setting. The RN is responsible for coordinated, safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics. This role focuses on transitioning to the role from the Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Residency (NLRN) Program, and involves maintaining BLS certification and proficiency in various nursing tasks.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse in the State of Practice
- BSN in Nursing preferred
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (unit dependent)
- PALS certification (unit dependent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience (or experience from transitioning from NLRN Program)
- Competency assessment requirements
- Adherence to standards within specialty practice
- Maintaining competency and currency
