Job Description
Guthrie is seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist I to collect blood and other specimens from various patient populations, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to regulations. Duties include on-site phlebotomy, specimen transport, laboratory order entry, and emergency response. This position requires a strong customer service focus and collaboration skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills and navigation
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program (desired)
- Medical terminology/knowledge (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (required at some locations)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
