Cardiac Invasive Technologist (0.75 FTE)

Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time Invasive Cardiac Technologist to provide care to patients while doing what they love. The position involves assisting the physician with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, monitoring and assessing patient status, and communicating information to foster individualized patient care.

Requirements

• Cardiology experience preferred
• Post High School education in a specialized field: Diploma or Associate level health science program completion in cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, exercise physiology, paramedics or similar field.
• 1 year of direct patient care experience in a healthcare related field
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months of hire
