Gummi World is seeking a passionate and analytical Product Development Scientist to join their Business Development/Research & Development team. This role will focus on developing new products, refining existing formulas, maintaining quality control, and supporting market research. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of confectionery, starch & starchless gummy formulation, capsule and powder manufacturing.

Requirements

• Develop concepts for the Innovation process
• Collaborate with the Regulatory Team on formulations and claim substantiation
• Maintain branded ingredient and raw material database
• Research potential ingredients based on physical properties
• Follow up with R&D and Business Development teams on samples
• Lead product tastings, evaluations, etc. and analyze/record results in a statistical/analytical manner
• Support Quality in new product specifications
• Contribute to innovation, troubleshooting, and brainstorming ideas in a team environment
• Understand customer needs, business needs, and strategy
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge
