Job Description
GuidePoint Security provides cybersecurity expertise and solutions, helping organizations mitigate risks. As a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) and professional services organization, the company values expertise, independence, and continuous learning. This role focuses on network security implementation and consulting for clients in the remote Mid-Atlantic region.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of Network Security Engineering experience in enterprise environments
- Experience in a consultative or professional services role preferred
- Experience deploying and integrating SASE technologies from Palo Alto, ZScaler, Netskope, iBoss, HP-Axis, etc.
- Hands-on firewall experience with Palo Alto, Fortigate, CheckPoint, Cisco ASA-Firepower
- Experience deploying firewall technologies in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- SD-WAN experience deploying technologies such as HP-Silverpeak, Palo Alto Prisma-Cloudgenix, Cisco-Viptela
- Broad experience with foundational network and security concepts
- Experience authoring security runbooks, policy, and best practice documentation
- Ability to confidently lead projects and be the trusted network security voice in customer conversations
