Job Description
The Construction Manager will join the Guardian team to ensure smooth operations of various construction projects. The position requires a high school diploma/GED, experience in Petroleum Handling Equipment, and excellent customer relations skills.
Requirements
- Manages design/build, construction management, or construct-only projects from project assignment through completion
- Serve as a liaison between Company, subcontractors, and construction teams on basic project issues
- Review plans and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates
- Maintain close relationships with clients to resolve all project questions
- Supervise work of project personnel to ensure that it meets the highest professional standards
- Coordinate with other internal departments to meet project requirements
- Define the scope of assigned projects and develop plan to accomplish projects
- Monitor progress toward deliverable schedules
- Compile project status reports
- Review job cost sheets and assist with preparation of monthly billings
- Assist manager in securing repeat business from existing clients and identifying new clients
