Job Description
GROPYUS is a company that creates sustainable, affordable, and aspirational buildings through modular construction and smart living. The company is looking for a Lead Engineer to lead a software development team and work on transforming digital models into physical elements at scale.
Requirements
- Lead a software development team
- Work in a hybrid infrastructure environment (cloud and on-prem)
- Manage complex software deployments at scale
- Strengthen the Operational mindset in Product Delivery with focus on monitoring, alerting and controlled feature rollout
- Act as a sparring partner for Product Managers and Stakeholders
- Be responsible for delivering features and improvements according to the roadmap and in alignment with Product Management
- Support directs in professional and career development
- Possess practical experience in all key areas of modern software development
- Have experience leading and developing engineers at various levels
- Be proficient with most of the following technologies: Kotlin, SpringBoot, Kubernetes, Linux, PostgreSQL, OptaPlanner, Camunda, BPMN, Optimization, Python, Bash, OPC-UA, PLC, SPS
- Bring Cloud Operations experience
- Have experience with Azure (bonus)
- Be familiar with monitoring and alerting practices for production systems
- Have experience with defining and working with SLAs/SLOs (bonus)
