Job Description
The Courtesy Clerk is an entry-level position that provides great service to customers by bagging groceries, providing carryout service, checking prices, and ensuring a clean store. This role is a great starting point for a fulfilling career with Grocery Outlet.
Requirements
- Bending, walking, standing, lifting and kneeling for extended periods of time
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Ability to work in various parts of the store in different temperatures and work environments
- Ability to interact with customers, associates, truck drivers, and vendors with a smile
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
- Able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
- Must pass drug and background check
- Flexible schedule, available to work weekends and evenings
- Ability to work in harmony with others as a team member
