Production Control III

Production Control III coordinates, analyzes, informs, and records the flow of material through manufacturing departments, communicates the overall health of the program, and ensures a quality product is delivered on time to the customer.

Requirements

• Communicate overall health of the program and any challenges to management
• Ensure the accuracy of the Bill of Material (BOM)
• Work with the Planning department to ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is generating the proper schedule
• Manage overall project part shortages
• Work with Purchasing and Manufacturing exceptions
• Work with Engineering for drawing releases and design improvements
• Work with the Spares Department for pricing and lead times
• Review Material Review Board (MRB) and coordinate with the required departments to resolve the issue
• Confer with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production
• Improve lean product flow
• Inform shipping, warehouse, quality, and program management of project details
• Network with other Production Control employees on their team to find creative solutions
