The Electrical Senior Project Engineer is a licensed professional responsible for leading and overseeing the design and engineering of electrical systems for commercial, retail, and institutional building projects.
Requirements
- Design and engineer electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.
- Perform and review engineering calculations, including short circuits, photometric, load, voltage drop, and equipment sizing.
- Develop and oversee creation of one-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts, and fire alarm layouts.
- Prepare complete project documentation including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Establish design criteria and standards based on code requirements, client specifications, and firm best practices.
